These are words loathed and hated by golfers and members alike. This means for the next couple of weeks the greens will look and play like ... well lets just say like "pooh."
Due to a couple of greens that are not as strong as they should be thanks to very aggressive overseeding they will only be drill and filled. These greens are 11, 12 and 13. They are much weaker than I like but require some kind of aerification so the algae formation will be more dangerous than the loss of the Poa Triv. At a later date in July we will have to aerify them to allow for full recovery.

I will post more later as the day progresses. Well the day progressed. We only drill & filled 11 - 13, but 12 got shocked anyway ... we will have to deal with that problem after the process is complete.

Other than that and the fact our loader stopped dumping after the first filling of the trailer all went reasonably well for the first day. We are going to have some repairs due to the plug pusher digging in on a few greens but that is nothing unusual.
