Exit & Entrance Stakes

Recently we installed the blue topped white entrance and exit stakes.  If you would please use these stake as your gap to enter and exit the fairway and in turn you will be helping the traffic wear and overall quality of the golf course.

Hydraulic Leak on 18

I thought this may be the year we do not get a hydraulic leak before the end of season ... I was wrong. This morning while mowing the fairways the machine started leaking all over 18's fairway. Ernie is out right now as I type spraying the leak with a effective combo of charcoal and green dye. The good news is that the problem is fixed.
With the holidays over, the team almost back to 100%, we must be heading into the heart of season.  The past couple of weeks we have experienced back to back to back frost delays that normally would have put us into a weaken condition that we as superintendents call “December Gloom.”  But not this year … with advanced planning, teamwork and a watchful eye on controlling expenditures we not only are getting through the “gloom” period but we are exceeding my normal expectations.

FROST -- Contact Pro Shop Before Driving on Turf

November and the first part of December were basically frost-free but we are now making up for those days with a vengeance.  Today, is no exception to that rule and we have another long frost delay to contend with again ... the rest of the week isn't much better.

Starting this week the blue topped white entrance and exit stakes will be making their appearance.  Please use the entry and egress points for the protection of the turf.
