Yesterday, we had to stop the tilling of the greenside bunkers since the Yo-Yo tournament was starting and we wanted to give our best to all of the guest, as well as members, who showed to express support to one of our beloved past members. So this morning we are starting back up again on the tilling of the bunkers working 18 backwards. The goal is to have the bunker team which is working 1 forward to smooth these tilled bunkers before the Ladies Trophy Day tournament starts.
At this time of year with all of the events occurring it gets more and more difficult to get routine maintenance done before any events or without some kind of interference. Rest assure the team will do its very best not to be too intrusive will preparing the golf course in the premier conditions that our members expect. However, that being said, especially while doing bunker tilling if you find yourself in a tilled but not smoothed bunker consider it as GUR and enjoy a free lift from the bunker.
