Always after the green's aerifcation in June the greens transition thanks to the sand and the heat. This leaves areas on the greens less desirable than normal conditions that my team must address ... and they are. We have already repair almost every damaged area on the greens caused by the process of aerification and starting today they will addressing the weaken areas caused by transition. Some hole such as 12 and the back of 15 are going to require sod, which is slated to start on Wednesday. I will be marking these areas today along with placing "dots" where I want plugs to go.
The back nine has been marked and work has already started. Tomorrow afternoon we will be prepping the back of 10 & 15, then on Wednesday starting to prep 11. These prep areas will be of course GUR.
